Jimmy Ross

ROSS, Jimmy, 79 of Fairborn, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020. Jimmy was born January 31, 1941 in McCreary Co., KY to Mathew and Georgia (Cox) Ross who precede him in death, hew was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 36 years, Stella O. Wells-Ross in 2003 also preceding him in death are step-children Sidney Wells, Libby Higbee, Gary Wells.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Stella Wells; step-children Susan (Ron) Copple, Maxine (Robert) Lee, Ed (Diane) Wells, Joyce Kiser, Maria D. Derrick, Willard (Mary) Wells, Earl L. Wells, James C. Wells, Lillian L. Turner, Faye L. Rayburn. Also surviving are 5 generations of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins, beloved extended Fairborn social family.

Jimmy trained horses in Lexington, KY for many years most notably Secretariat. He was a die-hard euchre player, dart's, pool, corn hole tournaments, softball player, and avid sports fan, especially his UK Basketball team.

There will be a Tribute to Jimmy, 1:00 pm Saturday March 14, 2020 at Sugar Mellon's, Fairborn, Ohio, there will also be a Celebration of Jimmy's life, Sunday, March 15, at the FAIRBORN SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER, 325 North 3rd Street, Fairborn 45324 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
