Jimmy Roberts, 82, of Dayton, passed away September 17, 2016. Jimmy was born in Lee County, Virginia on February 11, 1934 to the late Marion Lundy and Ruby Roberts. Jimmy retired from Duff Trucking after many years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed gambling and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Koger; and his son, Jerry Roberts.
He is survived by sons, Rick Koger, Jeff Koger; daughters, Debra Fraley, Wendy Delph, Bridgette Koger, Tina (Tom) Luckenbill, Teresa Wilkerson; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several other relatives and special friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 12:30 - 1:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4014 Needmore Road in Dayton. Funeral services will follow at 1:30pm. Burial will be at Dayton Memorial Park.
