Jimmy Lee Haston, age 67, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 10, 2019. Jimmy was born March 31, 1951 in Pikeville, TN to Clint & Flossie Haston.
Jimmy enjoyed singing for his Lord and playing the guitar. He was a jack of all trades-especially when it came to cars and woodwork. Jimmy loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clint Haston and nephew, Kenny Boy.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Kristy Haston; children, Bridgette "Bizzy" Haston, Angela "Anka" (Danny) Rieder, Jamie "JJ" Haston, Josh Thompson and Debbie Steiner; mother, Flossie Haston; siblings, Judy Still, Eddie Haston, Kenneth Haston, Mikie (Debbie) Haston and Ronnie Haston; sister-in-law, Patty Gau; grandchildren, Brandon Roberts, Jesse Rieder, Danielle "Lovie" Rieder, Gunner Haston, Alona Haston, Ariah Haston, Athena Haston, Celestia Kennon and Brandon Thompson; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Neytiri, Kadynce, Aurora, Brysten and Keirsten; nieces & nephews, Kimmy Sue, Anthony, Doyle, Kelly, Missy, Lil' Mikie, Matthew, Clinton, Sherry and Heather; several cousins and close friends-especially Raleigh Wilson and Elwood & Geneva Barnes who knew and loved Jimmy; and beloved K-9 companions, Shyla, Copper, Zeus, Tank and Boss Baby. The family with receive friends on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 2-5pm at Newcomer South Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. The service will follow at 5pm.
