Jimmy Dawes

Jimmy D. Dawes, age 46, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday August 17, 2011. He was born on November 4, 1964 to Sonny Dawes and Linda Sue Caudill. Jimmy is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Hal Caudill.

In addition to his father, Jimmy is his son, Jimmy D. Dawes, Jr.; his girl for life, Selina Roe-Dawes; 6 step children, Antonio, Morgan, Genean, Mark , Monae and Monique; two grandbabies, Amya and Zhymier; 3 sisters, Sherry Jo, Stephanie and Lisa; 3 brothers, Hal (Dusty) ,Greg and Darrell; 3 nephews, Dylan, Devan and Donovan; cousins, Big Fred and Lil Fred; close friends, Jackie, Princess, Boomer; a host of other family members and good friends.

Jimmy had a deep love for The Dayton Salvation Army. The organization played an important part of turning his life around and he was very thankful for their support. In place of flowers, it is Jimmy's request that donations be made in the form of clothing to the Salvation Army.

A funeral service will be held on Monday August 22, 2011 at 11:00 am at the new Ray Kroc Center, 1000 N. Keowee St, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior from 10:00-11:00 am. Burial will take place at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
