Jimmy D. Vinson

VINSON, Jimmy D., age 73, of Fairborn, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2006. He was born July 6, 1933 in McRoberts, KY, the son of Fred and Edith (Bain) Vinson. He retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service and NCR. He was a Past Master of the Fairborn Lodge #764 and a dual member of Lodge # 576 in Norwood, Winton, and Carthage. He is survived by his wife, Geneva Vinson; daughter, Jennifer (Mark) Puckett of Vine Grove, KY; son, Jeffery (Jeanita) Vinson of Huber Heights; granddaughter, Amanda Puckett; grandson, Jonathan Vinson; two sisters, Phyllis Marshall and Reba Zeigler; two brothers, Jack and Daniel Vinson. He was preceded in death by both parents; five brothers, Fredrick, William, Douglas, Gene, and Bobby. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 26, 2006 from 5:30 - 8:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.) with Masonic services beginning at 7:45 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 27, 2006 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Eugene Haney officiating. Interment will follow at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn.
