Jimmy C. Lester, 74, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away on January 21, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on August 29, 1940 in Council, Virginia. Jimmy worked as a Warehouse Manager for John A. Becker Company for 31 years. He was a member of Northridge Free Will Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and Bruce Lester; parents, Myrtle and Stan Leiter; 2 brothers, Stan Leiter Jr, Ronnie Leiter and sister, Susan Fox.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Inez; son, James A. Lester; grandchildren, David Lester, Amanda Lester, Sierra Lester, James Lester, Danielle Lester; brother, Kenny (Jane) Leiter; sisters-in-law, Rose Leiter, Kathy Leiter; brother-in-law, Dennis Fox; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends.
Visitation will be held 2-5 PM Sunday, January 25, 2015, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, January 26, 2015, at the funeral home, with Pastors, Tim Hamilton and Russell Street officiating. Burial will take place at Willow View Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Northridge Free Will Baptist Church.
