Jimmie Oliver Neace 69, of Moraine, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 24th, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton with his family & loving wife, Gail whom he married on January 11, 1969 in Clintwood, Virginia.
Born on October 31, 1947 in Gays Creek, Kentucky to Malcom & Cora Neace whom preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Betty Gail Neace of Moraine, Ohio. A son, Jimmie Neace II of Moraine, Ohio and 1 daughter, Dawn Michele Neace of Richmond, Indiana. 4 grandkids, Cory Marshall, Cody Neace, Casey James and Alec Neace. 3 brothers, Henry, Dan and Malcom Neace. 5 sisters, Susie Baker, Lucinda Bowling, Bessie White, Francis Offill and Maxine Marshall .
He was preceded in death by a brother, Taylor Neace and a sister, Luara Ellen Noble.
He retired from Dayton Progress in 2010.
He loved the UK Wildcats Basketball. Hobbies include fishing and his computer.
He was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Fairborn, Ohio.
Funeral services will be as follows:
Viewing will be Tuesday, November 29th, 2016 from 6-8pm and from 9am to time of services at 10am on Wednesday, November 30th, 2016. Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439), with Pastor Joe Hoffman officiating.
He will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton, Ohio with full military honors.
