Jim Tighe
Age 70, of Galion, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012, in Galion after a one year battle with cancer. He was born march 10, 1942 in Muncie, Indiana to Marguerite Tighe, a courageous, caring single mother.
He moved to Ohio in 1964 and held many different jobs: teacher, social worker, parts counter man, museum docent and, finally, lawn care laborer in a small town.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; former wife, Kathryn; daughters, Jennifer, Maggie, Elisa and Maria & their families; and sons, Steve and Phil & their families; encompassing sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren; numerous very good friends and by his impossible-but-lovable old cat, Sybil.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, generous donations may be made in Jim's memory to your local food bank.
Jim leaves behind a lot of wonderful people and he wishes them joy and peace.
