Jim Tiderman

Jim Tiderman, age 81 of Centerville, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at. He was born January 31, 1942 in Iron Mountain, Michigan to the late Weston and Rosemary Tiderman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Kris Wenzel and best friend, Jeff DeRidder.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Kathy Tiderman; two daughters, Karrie (Rodney "Bubba") Gibson and Ami (Donly) Benedict; grandson, Casey (Tina) Benedict; four siblings, Marge Higdon, Chuck (Gail) Tiderman, Patti Fenton, and David (Laura) Tiderman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Jim graduated from Iron Mountain High School and served in the United States Air Force. He was a proud member of DARA and heavily involved in the Hamventaion. Jim was a co-chairman for two years and then proudly served the next two years as chairman. DARA and Hamvention and was a huge part of his life and brought him great joy.
He loved to travel with family members and his most memorable trip was on Route 66 with his cousin Richard. The Gatlinburg Crew are also great and loyal friends that will always be thought of as a second family. He is well loved and will be deeply missed.
