Jim Price

James (Jim) D. Price, 90, born on June 20, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia (Ginny) Price; children, Gerald Price, Bonnie Hogg, Jamie Price and Gina Tankersley; parents, Joseph and Lillian Price; sister, Joann Cencebaugh and granddaughter, Janet Horsely.

Jim’s legacy continues through his family, including his sister, Judy (Donald) Hill, his grandchildren, Jerry Price, Tedd Price, Missy Horn, Jeff Horn, Jamie Price and Jason Price. He is also remembered by numerous nephews, nieces, great and great-great grandchildren.

In his earlier years, he was a local truck driver for Master Consolidated. Jim’s hobbies included fishing, shooting a game of pool, an afternoon round of golf and having a beer with friends and family.

Jim, although known for his stubbornness, had a big heart and those who knew him understood the depths of his affection and loyalty. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 30th at 2:30pm at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery where Jim will be laid to rest.
