Age 79, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at Hospice of Dayton.

Jim is survived by his wife of the past 57 years, Betty R. Leatherman; one daughter and son-in-law, Raenita & Michael Voice; two grandsons, Sean & Tracie Voice and Jason & Jessica Voice; three great grandchildren, Mia, Brantley & Tommy; one sister-in-law, Juanita Wildermuth; and by one brother, Joe & Eleanor Leatherman.

During the Korean Conflict Jim served in the U. S. Army. He was an active member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church. He retired from Nabisco Corp. with 39 years of service.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday (10/4), at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 5040 Rye Drive, Huber Heights, Ohio 45424. Pastor Dennis L. Dobbins will officiate. The family will be receiving friends AT THE CHURCH from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Jim to either St. Timothy Lutheran Church or Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420. Newcomer, North chapel is in charge of arrangements.
