While Jillian passed well before her time, she left her family with many memories that they will treasure and share for the rest of their lives. She was a feisty little girl that loved to play games and could be seen getting in all sorts of trouble during ultrasounds. She made her family laugh often and all who met her fell in love with her personality and spirit within minutes. She would raise to the surface of mom's belly to say hi to her daddy and grandma then kick them and run away. She could be seen doing hand stands and shaking her butt, looking up at the camera during head measurements and playing with her sister, licking her face, and telling her secrets. She loved to play hide and seek during her hour long monitoring with her labor and delivery nurses, letting them eventually find her heartbeat then running away and making them find her again. Although she was only alive for mere days, her NICU nurses followed suit and fell in love with her too. We could not be more thankful for the efforts put in by her doctors and nurses to save her life. She will forever be her family's little hero who loved her sister with all her heart and in the end fought to save her sister's life.
