Jill S. (Hamby) Cowdrey, age 41, passed away unexpectedly on May 22. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She lived for her sons, Garrett and Wyatt, who are a reflection of Jill's love. Her happiest times were spent watching her boys play sports and riding her horse with Steve.
Jill graduated from Fairmont High School in 1991. She married the love of her life, Steve, in 1996. In 2013 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Jill was a fighter and an inspiration. Jill leaves behind husband, Steve and sons, Garrett and Wyatt. She is survived by her parents, Herb and Sue Hamby; sisters and brothers-in-law Tracey and Steve Hoffman, Kelly and Mark Gohmann, Molly and Jason Crabtree; in-laws Jill and Mark Rosner and Bob Cowdrey, plus cherished nieces, nephews and loyal friends.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 pm on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, OH. Funeral services will be 10 am on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
