Jill Elaine Saunders

Saunders, Jill Elaine, age 49, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Hospice of Dayton. Jill was a Detective for the City of Dayton with over 22 years of service.

Jill is survived by her parents: Robert H. Sr. & Phyllis Saunders; brothers and sisters-in-law: Robert H. Jr. (Angela) Saunders, Gene (Cindi) Saunders; sisters and brothers-in-law: Jane (Tim) Jernee, Cheryl (Cory) Craft; nieces and nephews: Tony Blosser,Randi & Jacob Bickham, Marilee Kelhoffer, Dawn McNeese, Ben & Nathan Saunders, Caleigh & Casey Craft; great nieces and nephews: Jozey, Errol, Avery & Layla Kelhoffer, Taylor Bickham, Owen, Kale & Zane McNeese, Peyton Saunders, Brian, Colton, Rayna & Leland Blosser; special friend: Cathy Kaus; and numerous other family members and friends. The family would like to extend a special "Thanks" to all of Jill's wonderful friends who stayed with her continually at Hospice for all of their love and support. She was preceded in death by her great niece: Abigail McNeese.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420 or to the ALS Association of Central and Southern Ohio, 1170 Old Henderson Road, Suite 221, Columbus, Ohio 43220 in memory of Jill.
