Jewell Salyers, age 95, of Kettering, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 27, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otha Ray Salyers; brothers, Owen and Robert Honeycutt; sisters, Hazel Honeycutt and Pearl Kamadulsk.
Jewell is survived by her children, Carolyn S. (Gary)Pester, Daniel (Melanie) Salyers and Deborah (James) Harper; grandchildren, Brian Pester, Michele Michael, Katie Salyers and Daniel Salyers; great-grandchildren, Steven J., Madison M. and Aiden J.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 1-2 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 2 pm. Burial will take place at Bear Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton.
