Jewell D. Hatton

Jewell D. Hatton, age 94 of Miamisburg, passed away August 6, 2022. She was born October 11, 1927 in Cherokee County, KY to the late Ora and Elsie (Griffith) Boggs. In addition to her parents, Jewell was preceded in death by her beloved husband, J.C. Hatton; grandson, Adam J. Hatton; siblings, Pauline, Jesse, Maxine, Elwood, Myrtle and Clotine.

She is survived by her son, Randy (Catherine) Hatton; grandchildren, Andrew, Lindsey Nicole and Christina (Justin) Gormican; great-grandson, Jason Hale and numerous extended family and dear friends.

Jewell enjoyed crafting and singing during church services. She loved being around her family and looked forward to their visits.

Family will receive guests from 10-11 AM on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering, OH 45439) where a funeral service will begin at 11 AM. Jewell will be laid to rest next to her husband at Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg following the service.
