Jewell Bishop

Jewell May Bishop, age 96 of Fairborn, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024. She was born August 13, 1928 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Elbert and Elsie Orrender.

Jewell retired from General Motors in 1999. She will be remembered for helping others in need and having a caring heart. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Henry Clay Yarber and Dennis Ray Yarber.

Jewell is survived by her three daughters, Kathy (Martin) Cvitkovich, Sherry Laughman and Jean Hamilton; son, Tim Bishop; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Mary Orrender.

A special thank you is extended to her grandson, Matt for all of his love and care.

Visitation will be Friday, November 22, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Jewell will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens following the service. Services officiated by Pastor Jerry Siler.
