Jewel L Oates

OATES, Jewell Ray, Jr., age 79, of Dayton, passed away Sun., June 26, 2005 in La Follette, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife Mabel in 2002. Jewell is survived by his daughter Judy Spiller (Bill) of La Follette, TN; 1 brother Bryce Oates of Dayton; 5 grandchildren Shelly Kramer (Bret), Bryan, Shelley and Sean Spiller and Tracey Nissen (Chris); 5 great-grandchildren Kyle and Mark Kramer, Samantha and Rachel Nissen and Cameron Brewer and a host of other family members and friends. Jewell retired from Chrysler Air Temp after 30 years of service and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Central City, KY. Funeral services 10 A.M., Thurs., June 30, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Pastor Peter Courlas officiating. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday (TODAY) from 5 - 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions, if so desired, may be given to Hospice of Dayton in Jewell's memory.
