Jewel Buggs, age 78, of Dayton went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
He was born on November 2, 1938 in Homer, LA to the late Lavell Kennedy.
Jewel was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Martha Buggs and brother, Andrew Harris.
He is survived by daughter, Kim Grier; grandsons, Terry and Kenneth Grier; brother, Anthony (Annie) Harris; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 10-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11:00 am. Jewel will be laid to rest next to wife, Martha, at West Memory Gardens.
