Jessie D. Rowland, age 84 of Dayton, passed away Friday, November 22, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born June 17, 1935 in Johnson County, Kentucky the son of John and Vergie Rowland.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Deloris Rowland; brothers, Robert Rowland and Charles Rowland.
Jessie was an avid Dayton Dragons fan, a veteran of the US Army and a member of John W. Durst Lodge # 716.
Jessie is survived by his son, Gary D. (Patricia) Rowland; granddaughters, Stacey (Steve Chaffin) Rowland and Lindsey (Anthony) Bailey; great-grandchildren, Kenidy, Chloe, Anthony, Jr., Averey, Drew, Miranda and Kailyn; brothers, Joe Rowland, Bill Rowland and Mitchell Rowland. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on November 29, 2019 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Visitation will be from 10 :00 am to 11:00 am also at the funeral home.
