Jessie M. Benson, 89, of Fairborn, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Livingston, Tennessee on April 13, 1925 to the late Hugh and Maude Hall.
In addition to her parents, Jessie was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Raymond M. Benson; son, Donald; 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her children, Kathy (Bob) Spencer, Michael (Sharon) Benson; Karen (David) Kowal; sisters, Billie and Marie; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends.
The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Miami Valley South, 4th Floor, for the special care given to their mother. They would also like to thank Hospice of Dayton "Plum Unit" for their care and dedication.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45420-1890. Services will be private.
