Jessie Cox

Jessie Cox, age 92 of Huber Heights, Ohio formerly of Fairborn, Ohio passed away peacefully on October 17, 2024. She was born October 7, 1932 in Burkenhead, United Kingdom daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Joy) Morrow. 

Jessie was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Jessie's pride and joy was her family and she enjoyed spending as much time with them as she could. She loved her pets, enjoyed reading and watching her tv shows. Jessie will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, Jessie was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen (Elizabeth) Cox; and sister, Sheilah (Thomas) Fitzgerald.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Ralph Cox; son, David (Kandy) Cox; grandchildren, Chad Whitacre, Travis Hartman, Kali (Andrew) Wassenich, Joel (Cassie) Cox, Caleb Cox, and Logan Cox; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424.
