Age 60, of Vandalia, passed away Friday, May 26, 2006, at her son's home in New Carlisle. Jessie was born February 14, 1946 in Minneapolis, MN to Ralph E. & Betty C. (Hopkins) Fessenden.
She is preceded in death by her father; and by two infant sisters, Judy & Susan.
Jessie is survived by four children, Tommy of Dayton, Donnie & Regina of New Carlisle, Roger of Miami Twp., Betsy (& Jeff) Tirey of Dayton; her former husband, Donnie L. Tirey, Sr; six grandchildren, Jeffrey, Steven, Donnie, Garrison, Jordan & Allison; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Eddie & Pam, Jeff & Theresa, Ronnie & Angie Fessenden; four sisters, Dale Jackson, Peggy & Dave Leiffer, Linda & Rick Armstrong, Mary & Dwain Myers; and by a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 1, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Pastor Harry Stewart will officiate. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
