Jesse Watkins

WATKINS, Jesse Kermit, age 72, of Riverside, passed away Wed., Jan. 4, 2006 at Heartland of Beavercreek. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother John Watkins and 1 sister Malcolm Tong. Jesse is survived by his wife of 52 years, Phyllis; 1 son Roger L. Watkins & wife Elizabeth; 1 daughter Karen L. Young & husband Jim; 2 brothers Lelan Watkins and Vernon Watkins & wife Nella Jean; 3 sisters Gusteen Byrd & husband Clarence, Lillian Davis & husband Ed and Nila Mae Trent & husband Gene; 3 grandchildren Jennifer, Kyla and Connor; 3 step-grandchildren Christopher, Andy and Chelsea; 2 great-grandchildren Braden and Bella Grace and numerous other family members and friends. He retired from Miami Valley Hospital, was a member of the Moraine City 1st Church of God, the Greenville Lodge #655 F&AM in Caney, KY and an honorary member of Beaver Valley Lodge #753 F&AM. Funeral services 11 A.M., Sat., Jan. 7, 2006 at Moraine City 1st Church of God 5867 Springboro Pike. Pastor Glennis Sizemore officiating. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
