Jerry Lynn Walker

Jerry "Bayboo" Lynn Walker, age 57, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on August 22, 2022. He was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Nellie and Henry Walker II on March 27, 1965. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Cherlyn Ray; brothers Larry Walker and Henry Walker III.

Jerry is survived by his children Jerry (Renee) Walker Jr. and Alexis Allen, Joseph Allen, and Kristin Walker; stepchildren Kayla and Krista Lighten; brother Gary Walker; sister Darlene (Tony) Walker; grandchildren Jerry Walker, Jerrin Walker, Ja'Von Walker, and many other grandchildren he adored; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.

Jerry was a hard worker and had a passion for working on cars. He had a long career as a mechanic, and was always willing to help family and friends with their cars. He loved spending time with his family and riding in a semi with his son Jerry Jr. Jerry will always be remembered for listening to his country music. He always enjoyed eating, especially his son's famous ribs. Jerry was very loving and caring, and was an avid animal lover. All who knew him will miss hearing "God, you big dummy," "Big ears," and "Now, how 'bout that."

Funeral service will be held at 12 PM on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. Visitation will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday until the time of service.
