Jerry W. Moore

Jerry W. Moore, 62, of Tipp City, passed away November 29, 2015 at Miami Valley Hospital. Jerry was born in Clintwood, Virginia on April 12, 1953 to the late Charles and Belva Moore. Jerry was "semi"-retired from Moore Trucking. Jerry was president of the Liar's Club and a self-proclaimed brain surgeon who never met a stranger. He enjoyed auto racing and spending time with his grandchildren who lovingly referred to him as Poppy.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Joyce Moore; son, Jeremy Moore; daughter, Mandy (Anthony) Heitzman; Poppy's special girl, Bre; twin grandsons, Cameron and Mason; sisters, Wilma (Bill) Hall, Sue (Dana) Bush, Trisha (Bob) Doebler; brother, Orville "Butch" (Verna) Moore; grandpups, Hudson, Daisy; and many special relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 am with Rev. Greg Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Garden in Xenia.
