Jerry R. Hurst

Hurst, Jerry Robert, age 57, of Dayton, passed away February 1, 2009 at the Dayton VA Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, David Evan Hurst & Mary Esther (Stutz) Huemmer; wife, Darleen. Survivors include his son, Carl Robert Hurst of Dayton; brother, Rusty E. Hurst of Dayton; sister, Sandra L. Kinney and Bill Wallace of Kentucky; and his half brothers, Mark (Denise) Hurst & Larry (Barbara) Spivey. Graveside services will be held at 12 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:30-11:30 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
