Jerry Paul Klotzbach

Jerry Paul Klotzbach, age 67, of Moraine, formerly of Vandalia, passed away on May 16, 2020. Jerry was born at St. Ann's Hospital in Dayton, Ohio on Feb 17, 1953 to Andrew and Loretta Klotzbach.

He is preceded in death by his father, Andrew Klotzbach Jr. He is survived by his mother, Loretta (Wehner) Castle of Moraine, his brother, James Klotzbach of Las Vegas, and daughter, Lisa (Klotzbach) Freshour of Moraine. Also his companion of over 40 years and mother of his only child Lisa Marie, Brenda (Jones) Gray of Moraine.

Jerry was a graduate of Alter High School in Kettering, Ohio. Jerry loved racing and was on the crew for Salt Walther Racing Boats and Indy 500 car in the 70's. He worked at Lakeway Marina in Austin, Texas where Lisa was born. He then drove a tow truck for Sid's Towing for many years, and then became a semi-truck driver through retirement. He worked for many companies such as Jamestown Transportation, Yowell, and Carter Express. He loved to go eat breakfast at local diners where he lived and would chat up anyone that would listen. He was always there for his beloved daughter, Lisa Marie.

He was cremated and will be placed in a niche at the Spirit of the Living Water Gazebo at Calvary Cemetery in Kettering, Ohio where a short service will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 2 pm.
