Jerry P. Patterson, 69, of Miamisburg, passed away August 12, 2017. Jerry was born in Dayton, Ohio on September 4, 1947 to the late Harry and Helen Patterson. Jerry retired from Lau Industries after 45 years of service. He was a member of Beavercreek Baptist Church. In his free time he enjoyed playing cards, listening to music, watching movies, spending time with his family and he was an avid bowler.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers, Dale Patterson, Walter Patterson; sister, Mary Patrick; and nephew, Alan Patterson.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Emma Kay Patterson; sister in law, Roberta Patterson; nieces, Barbara Patrick, Cheryl (Tom) Stewart, Gayle Patterson, Joyce Patterson, Julie (Greg) Koesters; nephews, Russell Patrick, Steve Patterson, Scott (Dawn) Patterson, Rick (Bronwyn) Patterson; and many great nieces, great nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 9:30 - 10:30am on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, where funeral services will begin at 10:30 am with Pastor John Heading officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Shoup Park in Beavercreek.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or to Hospice.
