Jerry Dean Myles, age 74 of Huber Heights, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017. He was born March 5, 1943 to the late Harbert and Tiny Myles.
Myles served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was formerly employed at Monticello in Dayton and Sunshine Bakery in Nashville, TN. He was a man of very few words but he also was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by his family.
In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by his Brother, John Lee Myles, Brother, Terry Lewis Myles, Sister, Claudia Wiggins and Brother, Harbert Myles.
Jerry will be missed by his loving wife of 56 years, Joyce; Two Daughters, Sherry Williams and Revia Garrison, Daughter, Jerika; Son, Jeremy; 13 grandchildren; Great-Grandchildren; Two Brothers, Bernard Myles and Bobby (Jackkee) Myles; Sister, Shirley (Howell) Myles-Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Burial to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Dayton National Cemetery with full military honors.
