Jerry Mason, age 49 of Dayton, passed away December 11, 2019. He was born December 7, 1970 in Parsons, West Virginia. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Doug Long; and a baby brother.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Amanda Mason; daughters: Stella and Sara; mother, Bunny Long; brother, Eric (Christy) Mason; nephews: Tyler and Riley; niece, Keira; many other family members and friends.

Jerry was an employee at Enlivant, and enjoyed working with the people there and visiting with the residents. He loved fishing and hunting and was a member of the Mountain Top Hunting Club. Jerry was a very selfless man who worked hard to provide for his family. He was a very proud father who adored his daughters. Jerry was a very handy man who could build or fix anything. He would help anyone in need.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3-5 pm on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. Funeral services will be held at Hostetler Funeral Home in Parsons, West Virginia with burial at Parsons City Cemetery.
