JERRY PAUL KING, 63, OF Dayton passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at his home. He was born on June 24, 1957 the son of the late Paul and Pauline (Hornsby) King.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Linda King; son, Jason King of Middletown; daughter, Shannon (Justin) Clemons of Hamilton; stepdaughter, Stacy (Tommy) Fox of Miamisburg, granddaughters, Makenzie Clemons and Hope Fox; grandsons, Asher Fox and Brian Lake; sister, Lynnda (Steve) Kaplan of Westlake; brother, Gary (Terry) King of Hamilton; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by stepson Zachary Gaylord; grandson Isaiah Fox; and sister, Patsy King.
Jerry was a 1975 graduate of Middletown Madison High School. He was an avid chess player and dog lover. He was also an extremely loyal fan of the Cincinnati Reds and quite the baseball card collector.
A funeral service will be held for Jerry at 12:00pm on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Centerville with Pastor Adam Leopard officiating. Friends may visit from 11:00am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of Dayton or the American Cancer Society in Jerry's memory.
