Jerry M. Hayes

Jerry M. Hayes, age 80 of Centerville, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Kettering Health Main Campus. He was born March 22, 1942 in Williamsburg, Kentucky, the son of the late Basil and Mollie Hayes.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Grace; son, Dean (Lisa) Hayes; grandchildren, Christina Hayes, Ryan (Britney) Hayes, Karen (Ryan) Cook; great grandchildren, Christopher Hayes, Justin Casey, Cameron Michael Hayes, Kai Cook, and one great grandson on the way; siblings, Louise Hicks, George Hayes, Beverly Hatmaker, Carl Hayes, Nancy Funk, Mary Bullock, and John Hayes; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his son, Michael Wayne Hayes; as well as seven siblings.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459). Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
