PAQUETTE, Jerry Earl, age 78, of Beavercreek, passed away Monday, January 22, 2007. He was born July 1, 1928 in Natural Dam, NY, the son of the late Joseph Stanley and Anna Mary (Fleury) Paquette. Earl retired from Dayton Power & Light after 30 years and retired from Riverside Police Department after 36 years. He was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church, was vice-president of the DP&L Retirees Club, former "Head Kernel" of the Beavercreek Popcorn Festival, and a member of DeForest Amateur Radio Club. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Helen Paquette; sons, Jerry (Kim) Paquette and Gary (Joyce) Paquette; sister, Shirley Stewart; grandchildren, Valerie Stoner, Jennifer Wesch, Michelle Norton, Stephen Paquette, Robert Haynes, Chris Haynes, Matthew Paquette, and Robert Wilson; 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jill Paquette Blue, granddaughter, Kathleen Paquette, sister, Sylvia Rush; brothers, Sherman Paquette and Stan Paquette. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2007 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church with Father Terry Schneider celebrant. Cremation will follow services.
