Jerry Dale Piersall

PIERSALL, Jerry D., SSGT, age 58, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2007. He was born November 25, 1948 in Logansport, IN. He retired from the United States Air Force after 25 years of service to his country which included active duty service in the Persian Gulf War and was a member of the MOOSE Lodge #73. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Vickey (Harmon); his mother, Ariel Piersall of Logansport, IN; 3 children, John (Paula) Piersall, Christina Piersall, and Jodi (Shaun Church) Piersall; 3 grandchildren, Aiden, Jules, and Jayce; life long friends, John Balsley, Ralph Swigert, and Steve Young; his beloved dog of 18 years "pepper"; numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Piersall. Visitation will be held Friday, January 19, 2007 from 4-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel where funeral services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Dennis Ditto officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. The family would like to invite everyone back to the MOOSE Lodge #73 following the services.
