STEVENS, Jerry D.
age 70 of West Alexandria, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. Jerry was born August 12, 1936, in Moorehead, KY, the son of Charles and Tina Stevens. He served our country in the United States Army. Jerry was employed at Dayton Walther Corp. of Dayton, OH from 1955 to 1983 and was employed at Mosey Manufacturing of Richmond, IN from 1984 to 1990. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jean Stevens; sons, Brian (Lori) Stevens and Charles Stevens; sisters, Mary Barker of Moorehead, KY and Elsie Gay Hargett of Olive Hill, KY. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Maxine Hendrickson; and brother, James Stevens. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Brookville, OH on Albert Road. Visitation will be from11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria. Dr. Richard Donavon will officiate. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton Chapel.
