Jerry L. Compton, age 79, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away on August 29, 2023. He was born on January 19, 1944 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Clarence and Mary Helen Compton. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by sister, Judy Robinson.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Gayle; children: Kimberley (Frank) MacDougall, Andre (Sue) Compton, Molly (Mark) Haun, and Tyler (Randi) Compton; grandchildren: Austin, Savannah, and Cheyenne Ponticelli, Stephanie and Lauren Compton, Marcus, Maci, and Makenna Haun, and Levi Compton; as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Jerry was a graduate of Vandalia Butler High School. After high school Jerry spent 36 years working for Globe Products as a tool maker. He retired from Polycom as a manufacturing manager. Jerry enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time with his grandkids.
Private family graveside services will be held for the family.
