KING, Jerome W. (Jerry), age 86, preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Lynn. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Ellen Jane; three daughters, Irene (Ward) and husband, David of Miami Township, Susan (Lobacz-Hecht) and husband, Howard of East Islip, NY, Kathleen (McMillan) and husband, Scott of Jacksonville, N.C., and two sons, James and wife, Pamela of Beavercreek, Ohio, and John and wife, Lori of Frankfort, Ohio. He is survived by one brother, Robert and wife, Ione of Spring Valley, Ohio; was grandfather to Lisa, Maggie, Patrick, Amy, Melanie, Jeffrey, Sarah, Tricia, Kari, and Joseph, and great-grandfather of twelve. Jerry was a 30-year employee of N.C.R. and an associate in Star City and Main Hardware Stores. He was a Navy veteran of W.W. II, a life member and Past Commander of American Legion Post 675, past Minister of St. Leonard's Fraternity, Secular Franciscans, Eucharistic Minister at St. Henry's, Miami Valley Hospital, and Walnut Creek Nursing Home. Jerry was a volunteer at V.A.M.C. and A.L. Honor Guard, member of the Escort Carrier and Airmen Assn., member of St. Henry's Leisure Club, and Moraine Seniors. Viewing will be held Sunday, December 7th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Moraine. A Funeral Mass will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home on Monday, December 8th at 9:45 a.m. with interment at Dayton National Cemetery.
