Jerome Uhrig

UHRIG, Jerome, W. 88, passed away Friday, September 16, 2005. He was preceded in death by his son Daniel R. and daughter Linda M. Uhrig. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Virginia B. three daughters Jane A. Brockman, Ellen A. Swisher and Ruth F. Fulmer, six grandchildren Dan Brockman, Chris Swisher, Nikki Duval, Shawn Swisher, Becky Berardi, Tracy Hughes. Six great-grandchildren Patricia Hopkins, Cayla Swisher, Christian Swisher, Macy Swisher, Alex Berardi, and Morgan Berardi. Jerome was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base with 31 years of service and was a member of the Church Of Ascension Leisure Club. Visitation will be held 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at the Church Of The Ascension, 2025 Woodman Drive, Dayton. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 A.M. the same day. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society of Ascension Parish. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery Dayton.
