Jerome Newman went home to be with the Lord on May 16, 2015.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary, two daughters, Theresa (Rick) and Kimberly. Four grandchildren and four great grandchildren affectionately called him Paps.
He retired from The Standard Register Co. as a plumber where he was known as Monk. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Kettering. His devotion, humility, and love to all those he knew shall be his legacy.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Kettering, 3939 Swigart Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45440. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the church. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
