Jerome Phillip "Jerry" Lauricella, age 69, of Dayton, passed away peacefully at his home on March 25, 2023. He was born in Dayton, Ohio December 17, 1953, the son of the late Louis Lauricella and June Jordan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Louis "Joe" Lauricella.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Mary Lauricella; children, Tanya Bowles, Nicole Bailey, Phillip Lauricella, Jr., Renee Lauricella and Douglas Lauricella; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Patricia Roberts, Mike Lauricella, Chuck Lauricella, Suzette Stalter, Tim Jordan and James Jordan; and many other loving family and friends.
Jerry attended the School of the Dayton Art Institute after high school graduation. Jerry was a skilled welder and tradesman, and most recently was employed as a Pilot Training System Technician at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He was a life long donor for the Community Blood Center in Dayton. Jerry had donated over 205 times. Jerry was an avid gardener (he had the greenest thumb!) and was a "Master-of-all-trades." He also enjoyed playing various games with his family and friends. One of his greatest loves in life was traveling. Jerry and Mary traveled to every state in the Continental United States, as well as Italy and Germany. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm-6:00pm, on Monday, April 3, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 6:00pm.
