Jeremy Willis Brown, age 47 of Xenia, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 1, 2023. He was born June 19, 1975 in Xenia, Ohio the son of Ricky and Kimberly Brown.
Jeremy was a skilled carpenter who also enjoyed boxing. He loved fishing, hunting and was a total outdoorsman. He especially loved walleye fishing at Lake Erie. He was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and Rob Thomas. He always had a keen spot in his heart for animals, especially his dog, Copper. Jeremy had a way about him that no matter what anyone was going through, he made you feel welcomed, wanted and loved. His words and encouragement touched many people, even in the darkest of places. He will be remembered for his kindness, humbleness and his witty sense of humor. Jeremy was a beloved son, brother, nephew, father, a special uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his daughter, Mariah Dawn Brown; paternal grandparents, Dorothy & Paul Brown; maternal grandparents, Frances & Claude Smith; 2 uncles, Michael Brown and Paul David Brown and aunt, Jackie Smith.
Jeremy is survived by his parents, Rick & Kim Brown; son, Joel Brown; step-daughter, Micah Moore; 2 sisters, Rikki (Matt) Wolfe and Ronica Brown; brother, Aaron Brown; several nieces and nephews whom he had a special love for; 2 uncles, Ron Brown and Nick Brown; aunt, Claudia May; cousins and many friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a service to follow at 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
