Jerald F. Targett

Jerald F. Targett, 62, of Jamestown, OH, passed away May 22, 2014. He was born March 28, 1952 in Newark, OH. Jerald served in the U.S. Army for 28 ½ years and was part of the T.P.D. and had several security jobs working for U.S.D. 501 and 437. He is survived by daughters, Teresa Targett and Lisa (Leslie) Targett of Topeka, KS, and Michelle Gordon of Columbus, OH; siblings, Linda (Richard) Hart of Monroe, OH, Douglas (Gail) Targett of Xenia, OH, Anna (Mike) Porter of Columbus, OH and Jud (Gwen) Targett of Jamestown; 8 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jerald was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Johnson. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Dayton National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to New Jasper Fire Dep., Xenia, OH.
