Jenny Valentour, 79, of Centerville and Fairborn, passed away on May 11, 2019.
She was born to Ted and Ann Sowder in Jellico, TN.
Jenny worked as an Office Manager for the practice of Dr. Joseph Valentour and Director of the Greene County American Cancer Society for many years.
On September 21, 1957, she married Joseph Valentour, Jr. They lived in Fairborn, Ohio.
She was active in many different fundraising and charity benefits for her community.
Jenny is survived by her loving children, Joseph C. (Catherine) Valentour, III and Janet; grandchildren, J.C., Leona, Nanette, and Jonathan; great grandchildren, Liam and Neil; siblings, Gail Gibson, Johnny Helen Pittenger, Faye Kushner, Judy Hart, and Sue Hall; and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Valentour, Jr.; parents, Ted and Ann Sowder; and brother, Gary Sowder.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
A private ceremony will be held by the family at a later date.
