Jennings E. Brinegar, age 78, of Fairborn, Ohio passed away May 3, 2020. He was born May 17, 1941 in Irvine, KY to the late Samuel and Emma Brinegar.
Jennings was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a former Mason. He enjoyed working on cars, football, and Nascar racing. Jennings was very mechanically inclined. He could repair and fix anything. He continued to work until his death. Jennings loved his family and enjoyed taking care of others.
In addition to his parents, Jennings was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Rita Brinegar; sons, Jennings "Jimmy" Brinegar and Gregory R. Brinegar; brothers, Eugene, Charles, and Ernie Brinegar; and brother-in-laws, Sonny Short and Irvin Jenkins.
Jennings is survived by his children, Tammy Hanks and Michelle "Shelly" (Bob) Everson; beloved Beagle, Sweetie Pie; 7 grandchildren, siblings, Joe (Nancy) Brinegar, Inez (Dorsie) Fyffe, Cordelia Short, Hazel Jenkins, Patty (Roger) Green, Marie Angel, and Beth (John) Benner; sister-in-laws, Sheila (Paul) Barberini; Margaret (Greg) Whitt, Christie Guidone and Lisa (Larry) Reed; numerous nieces and nephews; bonus children, Jose (Ivie) Guevara and Julee Terilli; special nephew, Terry Jenkins; as well as a host of family members and friends.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
