Jennifer Petersen

Jennifer "Jenny" Petersen, 44, of Miamisburg, gained her independence on July 4th, 2022. She was born December 8th, 1977 in Dayton, Ohio to parents Patrick and Joy (Wilson) King.

She graduated Hillsboro High School class of 1996, then continued her education at Wright State University. She married the love of her life, Matthew Petersen in August 2005, and they built a wonderful life together raising their two children Evelyn & Corwin. Jenny was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family with every fiber of her being. She relied on her faith in God to see her through her life and was a member of Miamisburg Christian Church.

Anyone who knew her knows that Jenny loved her time in the Rennie Framily, Disney, reading, music and singing, reading, debating any number of topics, reading, playing the role of "Team Mom and Head Cheerleader," and most recently Wordle.

Jenny leaves behind her loving family who will miss her dearly, including her husband of 16 years, Matthew; two children, Evelyn and Corwin; father, Patrick King; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joy King.

A gathering of Jenny's friends and family will be held on July 16, 2022 beginning at 1 pm at Miamisburg Christian Church, 1146 E Central Ave, Miamisburg, OH 45342, with a service to celebrate her life at 3 pm.
