Jennifer "Jenny" Lynn Nave, age 52 of Beavercreek, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on Monday, September 25, 2017. Jenny was born in Springfield to parents, Ronald and Barbara Hays. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1983 and went on to earn her R.N. from Community Hospital School of Nursing in 1986 and her BSN from Ohio University in 2016. She was in the process of earning her Master's in Nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner. Jenny touched many lives through her journey in the health care field, working at St. Elizabeth Hospital and then at Grandview Hospital.
She was diagnosed with GBM cancer in November of 2016. After her diagnosis, she and her husband, Tim, began to complete her bucket list. The two traveled to Ireland, went back stage with Drop Kick Murphy's, and met various bands at celtic festivals throughout the summer.
Jenny's love, care, and compassion for others are some of many traits she will be remembered for. She was a loving and caring nurse, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend. Jenny will be greatly missed by all who's lives she touched.
Jenny leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and inspiration to many.
Jenny leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Tim Nave; parents, Barbara and Ronald Hays; brother, Todd (Donna) Hays; children, Erin Rogers, Paige Rogers, Jake Rogers, Reese Rogers, Victoria Nave, Patrick Nave, and Troy Nave; niece, Bailey Hays; nephew, Tyler Hays; father-in-law, Robert Nave; her Grandview Hospital family; and countless other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 4pm - 9pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel. A Celebration of Jenny's life will be held Monday, Oct. 2, 2017 at 1:00pm. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to The Grandview Foundation to the Jenny Nave Memorial Nursing Scholarship Fund.
