Jennifer "Jen" McMurchy, at 45 years young, peacefully passed on February 17, 2022. Jennifer was born on August 9, 1976 in Kettering, Ohio. The daughter of Deborah McMurchy and late father Keith McMurchy.
Jen worked as a supervisor at the Wellness Center in Dayton, Ohio. She was a beautiful, loving, giving and hard working woman to all who knew her. She loved what she did for a living, she loved her children, her grandson, her mother, step-father, and her dogs.
Preceding her in death was her father, Keith McMurchy; grandparents, Dolores Lewis, Donald McMurchy, Anna Solomon, and Russell Solomon; brother, Michael Woods; and the love of her life, Vaughn Erwin.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Deborah McMurchy; loving step-father, Michael Croucher; three beautiful daughters, Sloan McMurchy, Cheyenne Woods, and Sabrena Woods; loving step-son, Marcellus Cook; grandson, Rai'Quel Williams; brother, Derick (Casey) McMurchy; and two sisters, Christina (Mike) Worley and Montesa Perkins-Calahan. She is also survived by numerous of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
The family of Jen wishes to express their gratitude for the patience, kindness, and prayers from all. Special thank you to Catina Lee-Williams, Christina Worley, Antoinette Erwin, Gerhardt Civic Center, Brothers Forgiven, Pastor Gregory Sundance Colvin, Newcomer Funeral Home and staff, and many friends and family that have reached out. We thank you all so very much.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home-South Chapel located at 3940 Kettering Boulevard, Kettering, Ohio 45439. Funeral Service will be officiated by Pastor Colvin at 6:00 pm following the visitation. Repast will be held from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at Gerhardt Civic Center located at 3050 Kreitzer Road, Moraine, Ohio 45439.
