Jeffrey Wade Saleeby

SALEEBY, Jeffrey Wade, age 32, passed away unexpectedly at Kettering Memorial Hospital on Sunday, April 13, 2008. He was born on October 18, 1975 in Dayton, Ohio. He was Co-Owner of Breezy Pools with his brother, Michael. He loved spending time with family, friends and God. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, motor cycle riding, camping and anything to do with the Great Outdoors.

Jeffrey is preceded in death by: Grandfathers, Harlan Ison and Paul L. Dunaway Sr., uncles Harlan D. Ison and Paul L. Dunaway Jr. He is survived by his mother & step-father, Debra and Daniel Dunaway of Dayton, Ohio; father and step-mother, Michael and Vicky Saleeby of Raleigh, North Carolina; brothers, Michael Saleeby of Dayton, Ohio; Caleb and Josh Saleeby of Raleigh, North Carolina; grandmothers, Wanda Ison, Bernice Dunaway and Dee Harmon and Joann Saleeby of Raleigh, North Carolina, aunt and uncle, Vickie and Tim Prindle and their son, Matt of Dayton, Ohio; aunt and uncle Debbie and Billy Berkens of Dayton, Ohio; niece, Breanna Thompson-Saleeby of Dayton, and a host of friends and relatives.

Arrangements handled by Newcomer Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the South Chapel located at 3490 Kettering Blvd., Moraine, Ohio from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2008. Funeral services will be on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at Cornerstone Baptist Temple, located at 1707 Ohmer Ave. (off Linden Ave.) Pastor, Jerry Siler will be officiating. Interment – Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia, Ohio. Immediately following there will be a gathering at the church for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.

Jeffrey was a wonderful giving and loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. Although he only walked this earth a short 32 years, he touched the hearts of many. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

On the day God came to retrieve Jeffrey, his one dream came true. He had always wanted to be used by God to bless others around him. This same day his donated organs helped save the lives of at least three people, one of which was a 12 year old girl in Minnesota. Therefore, through Jeffrey, she also can enjoy life with God.
