Jeffrey Stephen Pitsinger

Pitsinger, Jeffrey Stephen, age 72, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013. Jeffrey was a 1959 graduate of Belmont High School and attended the Dayton Art Institute. He taught at Ohio Institute of Photography and retired from Systems Research Lab in 1994. Jeffrey was a member of American Legion Post # 675, AmVets Post # 2003 and Eagles Aerie # 3031 Dayton. He also was a member of the Black Cats Golf League.

Jeffrey is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years: Margaret (Kovalcik) Pitsinger; brother and sister-in-law: Nolan Bruce (Cyndy) Pitsinger; nieces: Gayle Gangale & Lora Pitsinger; step children: Aaron (Nicole) Manning & Adam Manning; and grandchildren: Elizabeth, Autumn, Maggie & Jenna. He was preceded in death by his parents: Karl & Mildred Pitsinger and his brother: Ronald Pitsinger.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, in memory of Jeffrey.
